Huntsman Corporation has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Tecnoelastomeri S.r.l. has joined the Polyurethane Manufacturers Association (PMA), demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing the Americas market with advanced elastomer systems based on methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) technology.

Huntsman Tecnoelastomeri, based in Modena, Italy, is a manufacturer and marketer of MDI-based hot-cast elastomer systems and processing machines. Hot-cast polyurethanes are used in many downstream applications, including wheels, rolls, technical parts and seals. These applications are used in the automotive, rail, oil and gas, mining and steel industries, among others.
